One things about Summer I enjoy so much are the spectacular cumulus tower scenes in our skies. July is the peak of such beauty & Randy Rogers capture of strengthening t’storm in the distance puts that on display. Taken in Clinton County just east/northeast of Frankfort, we see the shafts of rain falling from this storm with cumulonimbus calvus cloud. Few flanking cumulus are forming to the left of the parent deepening storm as muggy, unstable air flows into the cell.
